Carolyn is the author of three Canada guidebooks for the Moon Travel Guides, highlighting unique experiences, great local eating, and distinctive places to stay across the country. She also co-authored Lonely Planet’s 2024 Atlantic Canada guide, covering the province of Prince Edward Island.

She has contributed to more than 50 other travel and restaurant guides, including Fodor's Vancouver & Victoria, Pacific Northwest, Boston, Cape Cod, and New England guides, and numerous Lonely Planet titles, from Global Chocolate Guide, Sustainable Escapes, Around the World in 80 Food Trucks, Amazing Train Journeys, Culture Trails, and Secret Marvels of the World, to the China, Canada, Atlantic Canada, and Best Trips Canada guides.
